平成21年11月4日、我が部は昇級試験を行いました。審査はマーク先生が担当しました。新しく入部したメンバーを除いて、合計19人が試験を受けました。
　試験は基本、太極、型、と組み手四つの部分で構成されました。

　4th, November, 2009, we APU Karate Club held a level test. The examiner was Mark Sensei. Excluding the brand new members, there were 19 people had the test.
　The test was formed by four parts: Kihon, Taikyoku, Kata, and Kumite.

　2009年は、APU開校10周年です。今年の天空祭（学園祭）は特別に賑やかでした。
　10月24日と25日の2日間、われわれAPU空手道部は天空祭で模擬店を出し、そば飯を売りました。最後で計算した結果、去年より利益が増加しました。
　今回我が部の天空祭活動の担当者は　中野　翼　でした。大変お疲れ様でした。勿論、休日を犠牲して手伝いに来た多くの部員たちが居なければ、商売は出来ません。2日間で自分の体力を貢献してくれた沢山の皆様、有難う御座いました。

　2009 is the 10th anniversary of APU. As the biggest event of APU, Tenku Festival was extremely crowded.
　On 24th and 25th October, we opened a shop selling Sobameshi in the Tenku Festival. The total profit of our shop came out to be higher then last year.
　Special thanks to Tsubasa Nakano for organizing our shop.
　Of cause, our shop would not be selling things without many members who came to help. Thank you so much for sacrificing your weekend to help our shop.

　元APU空手部部員、APU卒業生のフイ先輩は2009年10月18日に行われた第33回関東地区空手道選手権大会で、再び賞を取りました。取得した賞は形一般男子の敢闘賞です。
　おめでとうございます。

　Huy Senpai, who used to be a member of APU Karate Club and now working in Tokyo, won another award in the 33rd Kantou Karate Tournament, 18th October, 2009. The award he won was the Kantou Shou(a fighting-spirit prize) for Men's Kata.
　Congratulations.

　元APU空手部部員、APU卒業生のフィ先輩は、2009年10月11日に東京江戸川区で行われた第62回秋季空手道大会で、型一般男子の三位を取りました。
　おめでとうございます。

　Huy Senpai, who used to be a member of APU Karate Club and graduated from APU, won a third place of Kata in 62nd Autumn Karate Tournament, which held in Edogawa Ku, Tokyo, 11th October.
　Congratulations.

　平成21年9月26日から29日まで、我がAPU空手部は大分県内の安心院で合宿を行いました。20人近くの部員及びマーク先生が参加し、毎日7時間の空手練習をしました。
　この合宿を通して、各国からの部員達が一層関係を深めました。きつかった4日間だったが、皆の体も心も前より著しく強くなったでしょう。

From 26th to 29th, September, 2009, we APU Karate Club went to Ajimu for the training camp (Gashuku). Near 20 members including Mark Sensei participated in this camp. The club trained 7 hours each day during this camp.
Through this training camp, members knew more about each other. By having this four-day hard training, members built both harder body and harder mind than before.
